Khnum - 1. Internationales Forum für Keramik und Skulptur, Sheeni (General Company for Ceramic & Porcelain products), Kairo, Ägypten. The first Forum took place in a traditional ceramic and porcelain factory called Sheeni. The artists could use the whole industry structure. They had access to tunnel kilns, porcelain in liquid and plastic form, a large selection of plaster moulds, and leather-hard or fired porcelain products to realise their ideas.
